# /do command
The primary purpose of this command is to provide a way to do actions from the chat. Unlike the `/activity` command, it closely follows the code paths of clicking the action's button. There are many actions you can do, so the way it works is a bit complicated.
## Syntax
The general syntax is `/do VERB [ZONE] [TARGET]`. Note that zone and target are optional, some actions don't require one or the other or both; also target may be empty, meaning yourself (see [[TARGET]]).
## Verbs list
* `/do nod` or `/do yes`: nod
* `/do no`: shake head
* `/do moan`: moan into gag
* `/do mumble`: mumble into gag
* `/do whimper`: whimper into gag
* `/do groan`: groan into gag
* `/do scream`: scream into gag
* `/do giggle`: giggle into gag
* `/do struggle`: struggle against restraints
* `/do thrash`: thrash in restraints
